Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Virginia Beach Shark Fishing

This summer's shark fishing off Virginia Beach onboard Long Time COm'n was outstanding. Using light tackle, anglers caught black tip, spinner, and hammerhead sharks. They ranged in the four- to six-foot range and were all good fighters. Several young anglers had their first real test in the cockpit this summer. We anchor to catch these fish, using bait fish and chum to attract them to the area and then casting out to them upon arrival. Then it's a matter of hanging on and fighting the fight. This bite should continue on into the fall if you want a turn!!
