Long Time Com'n fished all three days of the Maryland Saltwater Sportsmen's Association spring trophy rockfish tournament. In a word, it was ROUGH! As in, the wind blew, and the waves were rolling. Oh well, that's fishing. We limited out two days out of three, and we had a few anglers who were a little green about the gills. But everyone had good fishing stories to tell back at the dock, and they have lots of fish in the freezer. Biggest fish was 29 pounds and 45 inches long. We ended down by Point Lookout to get away from all the other boats, and we found a few fish that hadn't seen plastic shads trolling by them all day long. And they bit! Looking forward to some more good fishing. Call me today to book a trip. |
