Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Fabulous Start For Winter Rockfish

On Saturday, December 12th, Captain Dan took Fritz and his 5 friends out for some quality rockfishing. Long Time Com'n fished the coastal waters off Virginia Beach and found the big fish. In steady action all day long, we netted 16 quality fish. They ranged in weight from 27 to 42 pounds and in length from 34 inches to a whopping 47 inches. That's a lot of fillets, my friends! The mate had some help from the anglers when we got multiple hits on at the same time. And we never left the cockpit for fear we would miss the big one. Not only did we have a nice full fish box when we got back to dock, we also had stories of the two humpback whales we saw to tell. Book your fishing trip soon.
